For Once I Feel Fear

You'd bleed away life
Just to see me alive
You'd scorch away pain
Just so heaven remain
For once in my lifetime
I feel and sense fear
Fear that you won't be mine
Fear that you're not real

Terror strikes me everyday
Hoping love will make you stay
I won't let the night take you away
For once I'll keep death at bay
I use to be the winter chill
So cold, unfeeling and still
Now you, an unexpected fire
Remind me of that desire

I have someone to care for
Someone to love more
Someone to wait for
Someone to die for
You'd bleed for me...I know
You'd give away your soul
For once I feel the fear
Of losing someone....I had once near

    Again amazing poem... totally putting you in my favs... i absolutely love your writing, wonderful job! nothing more to say about this poem, it really was good. b/c you have that talent, i'd suggest using more advanced vocabulary, which you do at times i know that, it's not elementary anymore. just try it, i think you could really pull it off. 5/5

    How true is that sentiment. Sometimes it is all we can do just hold hold on to the hope and face the fears.

    You have truelly captured the essense of the fear that consumes all of us at one time or another.

    Form wise, It was written with the depth of understanding and made for an easy read with the flow of the words.
