Blinded By Love

Anything is better than to be alone
But that's all I ever seem to be
Alone with my thoughts of love
Wishing you would be with me

I crave your love and affection
My heart yearns only for you
Yet it's bleeding in your hands
Soon, it will be empty too

Just like I always promised
My love for you will never end
You force it to be restricted though
To love between just friends

You shattered my already broken heart
Yes, the one you broke once before
Blinded by love, I was guided back to you
To get my heart battered some more

I've never wanted anyone
More than I wanted you
I'd still go back to what we had
Even after all I've been through

Does that make me naive?
Or is true love real after all?
I can't answer those questions yet
And I'm not ready to take another fall.

    A sad, heartfelt read. The emotian in it was outstanding, and the story was quite sad. I know many people can probably relate to it, Throughtout the peom, there was an excellent imagery created. It had a great flow, and was really meaningful. Keep up the great work! xx
