The Darkness

The darkness hides my face
As I aimlessly wonder through space.
Crying, as i fall down into nothingness.
My soul dies as the darkness takes over.
My mind races trying to find an answer.

The answer I long to know
Is hidden within myself
Trying to escape to find the air
I long to hear the voice of reason

My face has disappeared
The blackness is never ending
As it creeps along, killing everything in sight.
Something beams through so shiny and bright.
Until darkness hides the beam of light.
And nothing else can be seen
