Inside

by myshiningstar14   Dec 6, 2006

I burn inside,
the moon withers
as the memories
tear.

Still my heart
beats because
of your love.
I don't love you
just because you
loved me, I love
you because I
trust you.

I dab at my pain,
watching them turn
into smiles.
Your heart shines
through and I
unconsciously
become caught up
in you.

I melt inside
the blood brews
as our hearts pump,
trying to make it
through.

Inside your voice
pulls me back
like a wake up
call.
Inside I know I
have it all.

Inside your energy
electrifies me.
Inside me and you
is all I see.

A lovely way of looking at it.
Your structure is amazing, it really helps the flow of the poem along brilliantly.
