One...

Everytime I wake,
I pray that I will see
your face.

One touch,
and I'm lost.
One smile,
and I'm buried.

Even when we
part,
I can feel your
arms around me
and hear your
voice whispering
in my ear.

One prayer,
and I'm captured.
One kiss,
and I'm gone.

You suck the poison
this life has given me,
from my lips.

Heartbeats made one,
tears tampered with,
come undone.

You hold me as I cry,
we lye together and
the things unsaid
begin to find there
place.

Love from the Son,
His approval we have
won.

We kiss until the air
cascades our lungs;
oh boy how you have
me sprung.

One look,
and I'm frozen.
One laugh,
and I'm taken.

We watch one another
when the other isn't
looking, we can't get
enough of just being
together.

One chance,
and I begin to dance.
One hug,
and I knew you were
my one true love.
