Angel's Alibi

by robin milford   Dec 7, 2006

When the snake gave Eve the apple the angel claims he was nowhere near the Garden of Eden. He was in heaven visiting his mother he swears it to be true, but we know better.

When people turn their hearts away from the lord the angel says, "It wasn't me", but we know better.

When people are greedy and cruel to one another the angel says, "I wasn't there, I was visiting my mother". We know this to be false.

The day God cast him out the angel stuck with his alibi. He was with his mother he swears to it, but we know better.

Every time evil is amiss the angel has his alibi.
