When east meets west

by tri tran   Dec 8, 2006

When the angry sea divides us, the loving gods draw us closer;
Your joy, ablaze like the orange flame on a clear, starless night,
You hear the doves flap their blissful wings and call your name;
When the sad, auburn clouds leave your galaxy, you beam
And sing a love lullaby to my soul to rest.
When I sit on my hammock one evening
And look at the sky, I see an indigo star...this is true love,
My galaxy begins to blaze in crimson ecstasy.
When I want to express my love to you,
I could only gaze deep into your vortex of sorrow,
Longing very much to intone, "I love you,"
When you let me feel your warm heart, I rest my palm on it,
And you whisper to my lonesome soul, "aishiteru."

********aishiteru means I LOVE YOU in japanese...
