In a world without any darkness
What becomes of the light?
In a world without wrong concepts
How would we know what's right?

Inside a world without hell
Where would we find heaven?
In a world without thine enemies
Who would we call thy brethren?

Living on a planet without hardships
How could we all experience hope?
Living with no unfamiliar strangers
How would our hearts know home?

If we lived in a world of sunshine
Wouldn't life be such a desert?
If every day we found a pot of gold
Would we think it such treasure?

Circling a star
On this great world of ours
I sense all's at rights.
Without death:
The loss of life and breath
Would we still value our life?
