Drive A Hurricane

by [[Get Ya Wicked On]]   Dec 8, 2006

Do what you can't do
Dance in the rain
Do the impossible
Drive a hurricane

Never settle
Always do your best
Don't just sit around
Or hold yourself back with the rest

Make a statement
Be sure people know who you are
Because if you follow your dreams
You'll reach the stars

Don't dive into something
Take small steps so you know you'll succeed
Do more than what you think you can do
And you'll achieve more than you need

Strive for yourself
And never look back at the past
There is a reason for everything that has happened
And not all things are going to last

You may lose a friend
And possibly lose yourself
But bring yourself back and never lose faith in you again
Never take for granted your mental health

You are unique
And your more beautiful than you think
Don't disgrace yourself with lack of clothes
You'll lose respect faster than you can blink

Try not to hold your secrets in the confinements of your heart
Because it'll bubble around inside and you'll yell to no end
You'll scream at the wrong person
And lose that person as a friend

You can smile everyday
Knowing that you don't have to cry
Because of ignorant people
And all of their lies

The moral of this poem
Is to just be you
Because if no one else is
You can always rely on yourself to be true
