In darkness do i trust

In darkness do i trust
the pain to go away
the suffering i feel
to vanish all away

In time will i see
all the mistakes i have made

In darkness do i trust
my heart to utter blackness

In death do i seek
a place to rest my head

A peacefull spot by the river
to lay my weary head

A quiet place to call my bed

In darkness do i trust
the pain to go away
