Her Reckless Habit is Back Again

by Lithium.   Dec 9, 2006

She never really escaped her past,
she was only running from it.
yet again she finds herself holding a knife,
scarring her beautiful skin,
unaware of everything around her.
she doesn't care if the scars never disappear.
right now, the only thing on her mind
is hurting herself,
because she isn't good enough for anyone anymore.
oh, her reckless habit is back again,
and now it's worse than ever.
someone out there who cares,
prays for her sanity.
they pray that she finds her way back into the world.
someone out there
cares more than anyone,
but she doesn't see him.
she only sees her flaws,
starving herself until the bones show.
the feeling that blade gives her,
will only last so long,
and when it's over, it will be more painful.
painful to see what she's done to herself.
only she can save herself,
only she can stop the bleeding.
oh, her reckless habit is back again.
