Those Words

You said just a few words
Not the ones I was expecting
And I swear my heart sank
It fell right through me to the ground
The tears came too quickly
You're talking but I just cant seem to understand what you're saying
Ever since that moment I haven't been the same
Every time I see you there's a pain in my heart
I can't stand this anymore
Everyday,again and again I see your face
Shes talking to you and I feel the anger building
Why am I not enough?
Was it really worth it?
Making me feel worthless
Which i cover with smiles and fake stories
Of why I can't sleep
I lie awake,so restless and unforgiving
I can't seem to forget those words
They just keep pounding in my head
Over and over again
Over and over again.
