As women we are all looking for love
the kind of love that we can't believe we ever lived without
we search for that man who will hold us through the night
and kiss our foreheads
and makes us believe that everything will be alright
As women we all want someone to love us
and treat us like the princess our father's always told us we were
we reach out to those we never believe will betray us
and when they do- we lock away our hearts
As women we all live in fear
fear of getting rejected
fear of having our hearts broken
but most of all- fear of finding that one person who we will love more than ourselves
that one person who knows everything about us
that one person who has the power to hurt us
