To the men and women who serve our country night and day
And their family's and the price they to must pay,
Weather at a desk or on the battle field,
Even the ones who have been killed.
They go to war without a second thought,
To fight a war that must be fought.
To protect our rights, freedom, and justice for all
To the men and women who took that call.
To the men and women who fight with grace,
An evil enemy they must face.
With courage and determination,
Out to protect god's creation
With great pride,
And tears that are cried,
Forever in our heart
A fight to the end, as strong as the start.
Hold your head high, and stand proud,
To the men and women who let us sleep sound.
* this one is for all the military ppl and their families. I feel your pain, I have several family members who serve our great country. Last but not least for my uncle and cousin who were at the war in Iraq, they just came back safe and sound. Thank you god, for keeping them safe.
