Suicide Killed Us Both (for Sharon)

by SomeonesAngel   Dec 9, 2006

For Sharon Ardern who committed suicide5/12/06.

You know when you took your life away,
You took mine and others too,
We cried we died and we cried some more,
All because of you.

The pain doesn't stop hurting us,
It will never go away,
It would never have had to be like this,
If you had chosen to stay.

We understand why you did it,
I know just how you ached inside,
But the day when they found you in the rain,
Was the day that my spirit died.

I know that you had dreamed of that day,
When finally you were free,
But what about all of us,
You're friends and family, and me?

I'm not angry with you Sharon,
I am so proud of you,
Knowing that you're watching us,
I'm safe because of you.

You're happy now, and safe,
And no one can bully you again,
Can you stop this game now?,
Please make this all pretend.

I'm sorry if i ever hurt you,
If I built on all your fears,
I love you baby and always will,
I Just wish that you were here.
