Lost

She lies awake all night

Thinking about their fight

Wondering what's going on

Why her father's suddenly gone.

She cries cause she's left all alone.

Her heart drops like a heavy stone

She looks for someone to turn to

She just doesn't know what to do.

The girl keeps searching till she finds

A sweet, single thought that reminds

Her that God will always be there

To help her through that dark despair
