That Day

by Nikki   Dec 9, 2006

One day in August
There he was
Absolute perfection with eyes lowered
Serious, sensuous, dark
Scantily clad in tight jeans above the knees
Hovered over his passion, his art
Our eyes met, he smiled
He caught me off guard
Such depth, magnetism, such presence
I noticed his punctuated lips, his dimpled smile
Beautiful I thought
My eyes were fixed on him
His fluid movement, manly stance
So graceful, alluring, fascinating
I smiled back, hesitant, tempted.
