The Forgotten

by cut from the [scene]   Dec 9, 2006

Conditions are fading, my wings are decaying,
My mind is blowing, my heart is waiting,
For you, just you. For every single word,
That flows out of my mouth, onto the sidewalk,
I can't hold them in, every time that we talk,

And you, just you. You're the reason i'm here,
I can't thank you enough, for fighting my fears,
and my skin is crawling, my mind is warey,
I'm lost in a world, so big and so scary.

But you, just you. You sweep me off my feet,
And it's like this, every time we talk,
Words spilling out, crashing to the sidewalk,
Crashing, failing, waiting, fading,

Slowly decaying, my wings are rotten,
I've leaving tonight, to live as the forgotten.
