Enemy

by Josh Barrett   Dec 10, 2006

The love I share for you,
costed me a friend,
a friend I would always love,
until the very end.

But I let them go,
and held onto you,
because you are you,
I love you, too.

I rub my hands through your hair,
my feet onto yours,
my hands into your hands,
as we lay on the seashores.

You costed me my best friend,
the one I thought would stick with me til the end.

So, they are not my friend,
as we can see,
just because I love you,
they have became my enemy.
