Heres to the kids
who lock themselves in their room
and turn ear deafening music on full blast
Heres to the kids
who's 11:11 wish was wasted on the one person
who will never be there for them
Heres to the kids
who write these poems
to let out all of there feelings
because there is no one there to listen
Heres to the kids
who walk through the halls
with their heads down
wishing to fit in
Heres to the kids
who watch everyone else
and cry themselves to sleep
because there life will never be that good
heres to the kids
who listen to sad songs
and can relate to everyone of them
Heres to the kids
who put guns to their heads
and pray for the courage
to pull the trigger.
