As she sits alone

by Katie   Dec 10, 2006

As she sits alone crying,
she thinks about you,
And all the wrong things she has done,
and often wishes her life was through.
but do you see how you hurt her
or how make her feel?
Denying that she cares,
denying her honest love is real?
As she sits alone crying,
as she sits alone and dwells,
she wonders why shes hurt you so,
and why she made your life a living hell.
But you don't see the pain you cause her,
Do you not see the way you make her cry,
do you not see the broken heart,
that hides behind her smiling eyes?
As she sits alone crying,
With nothing to do or say,
She writes her feelings in a poem,
Hoping they will go away.
And as you sleep, peacefully,
she sits up and thinks "why me"
"Why am I trapped in a life, of pain and misery?"
As she sits alone crying,
the mascara runs down her face,
knowing that breaking you heart in two,
was one of her biggest mistakes.
But do you not see,
The person she has become?
The way she wishes she could get high,
Just so she could be numb.
As she sits alone crying, with nothing left to say,
she writes this sad, sad poem,
And wonders what you would say,
if you read these feelings she feels,
and if you only knew,
Just how hurt she is,
How hurt she is by you,
