One Way Love

by Lollypop   Dec 10, 2006

If you could take my hand,
Lead me away.
Take me from this pain
I endure every day.
My heart aches
To feel your love,
To feel joy,
From you above.
Why do you not answer me?
What kind of love can that be?
When will my love be returned?
Why must I wait for the tide to turn?
If you could ease the pain,
Take it all away.
Would you do that for me?
Or wait until I fade?
I will fade into the darkness
Of the love not returned.
If it must come to that,
The blame will be yours in turn.
Everything,
All that you do
Will be wasted
If you don't act soon.
All the hate in my heart
Will only add to the strain.
And Everything you do
Will only add to the pain.

Bleeding demons, made a good point. I have found out, that sometimes i can inspire my self with poems i've writen. Sometimes we find something amazing just by taking a second look. Like one poem can open a door to emotions, while the next is us walking through.

One way love, is a sad truth. That those we need may not always need us so they simple arent there. HOld you in good times, leave you in bad.
    "If you don't act soon.
All the hate in my heart
Will only add to the strain.
    And Everything you do
Will only add to the pain."
I think that is the sadest truth of it all. Like the rhythem, and how its so easy to relate.
