Everytime you see his face
Your heart jumps at delight and your tummy feels like it is doing flips
You do not say a word
wonderinf if he feels the same way
you wouldn\'t dare to mess up your friendship that you have
but when guys and girls are friends
sooner or later
they will like each other
maybe at the wrong time or for awhile or live in denial or maybe forever
no one knows exactly
so you sit there wondering
trying not to stare
how can you tell
you both won\'t give in
to what you know is there
and when you are around them it makes it worse
he makes you laugh with just his eyes
when you don\'t want to it\'s hard to keep a smile locked away
one day he notices you staring
and you make up some lame excuse
and he says it is time to bring out the smile
that you hid away in a tower
and of course being in denial you say im not staring
but he knows you to well that something is wrong
you know he cares for you it is in his eyes
you think but then there is silence sll around in a moment you realize you were wrong and feel bad for such thoughts
he likes someone else
what you thought was there
was just an illusion, not real
so you come out just as a friend in the end.
