A BROKEN HEART

A Broken Heart

I can still hear her laughter I can still see her smile
When the life she had was so worth her while
All the friends and a wonderful dad
A beautiful life is what she had
Now her eyes tell a pleading story of that cold fall day
Her life was destroyed in such a terrible way
That day in her November that her father passed away
With so many things she had left to say
Her mother broke down and gained an addiction
Which caused her family unfortunate affliction
She took a trip to ease the pain
When she came back many things had changed
The D.C.S was taking her away
They said her mother was to unfit for her to stay
That was the day her family was spread apart
Her life had just ended but another one would start
Six months have now passed away
She sits in her room thinking back to that fall day
That day in November when it all fell apart
Leaving her to pick up the pieces of her broken heart

Please rate this..it would mean a lot
