THIS LIFE OF MINE

by meryl   Dec 10, 2006

I lay alone watching the stars in the sky,
trying to make
sense of it all,
living this life of mine,
a complete and utter lie,
who will cry for me when i die?
as no-one knows who i am so every tear will be a lie,
i cover my face and begin to cry
completely crippled by the pain i hold inside,
theres no outreached hand no ray of beaming light,
for Ive had my chances to make this right,
as i close my eyes and drift to dream
i pray that tonight i wont hear your screams.
