Italian Goddess

by Dallas McNamara   Dec 11, 2006

What more could you ask for
A simple little girl
However, this girl was not ordinary
She was an Italian Goddess

A beautiful angel sent form the heavens
One that I fell in love with and it keeps growing
Larger and larger do my feelings grow
I wonder if she knows I really do love her

The sparkle in her eyes make me wonder at night
If I will have her in the end
Amazing and true, she is everything I wanted
Where has she been all these years

I think about her constantly day in and day out
I think this is love, I've never felt this way before
To me she is my guardian Angel, to her I am an ordinary boy
Or so I am made to believe even thought I do not want to to be true

A beautiful face, a beautiful smile
I would love to be with her once in a while
Forever has gone by and yet she is not mine
Was it meant to be true or what it all a lie

Please lord answer my questions allow me comfort
As for she is the one I want and will always long for
Just give me an answer will I have her or not
Anything will do

Make my day or shoot down my dreams
Either way, as long as she is happy, I will be happy for her
With some other guy, or with me, no one can love her the way I can
Please lord, allow me to have my Italian Goddess, as she is the one I want
