I totally understand this. It's hard to hear the ones you do love and care about tell you they don't think you're making a good choice. And when you love somebody, that's hard to hear. But do keep in mind, they know you better than you do sometimes, and even if that isn't the case, sometimes outsiders can see things you can't. I know this from watching people I care about make mistakes, and even though they may have honestly loved that person, it just didn't seem right. So keep an open mind.

I was with my husband since the age of 15 my mother was always telling me I could do better. We stayed together for 26yrs until his death. My mom ended up loving hiim like he was her own. The people you love will accept your choice. I say follow your heart! I never regreted my decission! Excellent poem!

OMG...that sounds like one of my friends and shes going through this same thing and she seems to be getting the worst of it and i'm gonna tell you the same thing i told her...if you really like this guy then no matter what other ppl say stay w/ him and eventually everything will work out.
