One Single Bite

by Naerwen   Dec 11, 2006

A glistening wrapper,
Full of sugar delight,
One single bite,
What a mortal sin,
Dont give in now,
To the undeserving pleasure,
The deceitful joy

Unwrapping this colourful wonder,
Watch the delicate foil,
Unfold from this pretence ecstasy,
One single bite,
And youve given in,
Your might been broken,
And now the torment begins

Listen to the devious voice,
Echoing from the depths,
Of an empty stomach,
Reflecting the hollowness,
Within a desolate mind,
Malicious whispers prickling,
Decreeing the counteract

Swollen gut from immoral deed,
To satisfy a yearning,
However a worthy punishment,
Is all ready and waiting,
Heed the righteous fiend,
Let fall a heavy head,
Liberate a habitual practice

A glistening wrapper,
Full of illusory bliss,
One single bite,
What a mortal sin,
Never again give in
To the fabricated glee,
For a sordid sentence,
Awaits you.
