In The End

In The End

Time is free, it tickles away
In the end it will kill all of us
We live we breathe
We try to make sense of it all
We love as if it will make it all go slow
But in the end we all get hurt
To all have meaning on this earth
Not to break too many of gods rules

Years drift by
Over eyes become old
Though our youth once we were so bold
Time has a way of taking things from our soul
Gentle with listens as we drink our cup of Joe
We see the light we know the darkness
Find the time to recognize the love lost in our time
Promise broken, words misspoken
Lies told and lies spoken

Soft touch of her sweet hand
Took the pain of the light away
My love, my all
How I still love you so
I breathe you, I sense you in my soul
You give me hope, when I had none
You gave me feeling I never knew I had
Soon I will leave this place of stone
What will my love embrace?
I miss you so, but I think god knows
That there is so much love that I have for your soul
That he night find the time
To let me hang around with the only love I have know
I hope so
Till then my sweet
