He held her hand as she walked in The doctor waiting there The tests had been run, the results were back He was waiting to share "The results are in and the news is bad Therapy is what you may need Abide by the rules, do as i say My warnings you must heed." One morning she had awoke so very tired He had been outside She was stubborn and wanted it her way The rules she did not abide He took her to her treatments in town By her side he stood There would possibly come a time to leave These things he understood But for as long as she kept fighting for life He was fighting too A battle against the Will of God Both afraid to loose Regardless what the doctors said and did her fighting she kept strong She wouldn't leave the one she loved Her life would be very long Until one night she lay in bed Feeling much worse than before Her fighting had been good up until now She couldn't do it any more By the times she reached the hospital Her race was finally done God's Will had come to take her home Her time had finally come He kissed her goodbye in her room A tear fell to her bed One tear of many from a broken heart That were yet to be shed by: amber thx for reading plz comment and vote
