You Broke My Heart

I sit here now
surrounded by friends,
what I feel for you
will it ever end.

I hope you know
you did me wrong,
but the pain I feel
will make me strong.

I've set here and
cried all my tears,
I've set here and
fought all my fears.

I knew I loved you
from the start,
the day you said no
you broke my heart.

    That was my favourite stanza.
