Suicide Note

Dearest friends,
Today I am taking my life.
Too long have I suffered
From hatred and greed
For too long have I seen
The sliver blade of death
And been unable to grasp it.
Don't ever ask
Why I decided to say goodbye.
I couldn't have the one I loved,
Couldn't do the things I wished,
The family I grew up with
Wanted me no more,
And the friends I had met
Wanted nothing more than to
Murder me themselves.
Friends, I love you,
But there is no more in
This world or any world
Worth living for.
I have the rope, and I have the rafters
Ready for me,
And at the stroke of midnight,
I will be no more.
Don't try to stop me,
I've made up my mind
Tonight, dear friends,
Tonight, I die.
