I see all the couples and I start to cry,
I see how much their in love,
And all I can do is think of you.

I remember your smile,
The dimple in your check.
The way your face light up,

I remember how you sang along,
Even if you couldn't remember the words.
Forever trying to make me smile,
Even when my world was dark and grey.

You held me close as the storm raged,
Outside and inside.
You wiped away all the tears I cried,
Whispering nonsense in my ear to make me smile.

No matter how hard I try,
These memories are always there.
Haunting and taunting,
Chewing me up and spitting me out.

I've tried to say goodbye,
