And as I ran from her my tears fell to the ground. I knew to turn back and look at her would have meant my heart be pulled from my chest. Broken memories played in my head skipping every heartbeat. The world I had built was now collapsing on the humid sidewalk. I kept running through the rain and down the street. Tears kept getting mixed with drops of water as they fell from the sky and through my eyes. The liquid pain soon found its way into my veins and lodged a venom shot into my brain. The black night broke my face. The pain was gone and I was back at the beginning of the page. Part of my life was to be rewritten all over again.
