Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, mirror, on the wall
What is the fairest of it all?
And from the mirror a face is born,
Full of sadness, loathing and scorn

It speaks: All beauty lies DEAD and BURIED
To the depths of hell it has been carried
By you, your kin and your kind
yet you do not regret, you do not mind.

You and your kin hide inside your walls
dead inside - just like lifeless dolls
You know not day, know not night,
know not darkness, know not light

All is false, nothing true;
the things you say - the deeds you do
crawl inside your graves with all your kind!
Be sure: None will mourn. None will mind.

I'm not going to lie, when I read the opening line I was afraid that there was going to be something really bad that followed.

But! I was wrong. this poem is very unique and I loved your repititon. It was a very well written poem! 5/5

    Powerful couplet there.
And such a dark and stormy poem.
