A Dusty Dream

by Caresse   Dec 12, 2006

Secrets.
Unspoken love.

Sweetness drips off every rose.
Fire burns on fields of earthly gold.
Her lips, drenched in honey,
blowing creamy tenderness.

The silence stings.
A dusty dream.

A river of broken hearts lie within her nights.
Her pale face awaits those words.
Sweet memories lost as a now dusty dream.
Lonely days, hopeless nights.
Finally....

He wraps her dreams up in tear stained pillows.
Petals fall onto her buttery soft skin.
Twilight arises...
Words are spoken, secrets melt,
empty hearts quiver...
within that old dusty dream.
