Is it Love?

So maybe it was a bit too fast
To say the words I love you.
And though you never heard them
I don't know what to do.

I've already told my heart
And now my mind disagrees
These two parts inside
Are tearing what's left of me

It's not that I think it's wrong
Or that the love isn't pure
But if we are right together
Is what leaves me so unsure

Yes, you make me smile
Even when you aren't here
But is this enough to say I do
Commit to a life we'll share

And we haven't amounted to that
But one day, we just might
It's better to know me now
And see if it's worth the fight

So this question I'll ask everyday
To my heart and to my mind
And I hope with all that I have
That love is what I'll find.
