Mis comprehension

by David Marshall   Dec 12, 2006

Alone in this world, I'm afraid to show my face.
Again I'm stricken with fear, trapped in a sorrowful place.

I open myself to the ones I thought I could trust,
And again I'm fooled and mistreated.
A war between myself and the world,
And as I thought I was defeated.

Covered in shadows and shot down with despair,
I pick up every tear I drop.
I stumble over the pride they all share,
I just wish this life of mine would stop.

Again I see the greed of what others became,
They walk right through me like a ghost in their mind.
Life's darkness will always be the same,
And I'll always be in the back impossible to find.

I'm alone in the world and there's nothing left for me,
I'm misunderstood and stuck in the tension.
I'm dieing and no one else can see,
Because of the hatred and mis comprehension.

Wow. Such pain in every word, so expressive and heart breaking, well written, just like all your others, very strong. :)
