Short poem. Funeral Day (today) for Sharon

by SomeonesAngel   Dec 12, 2006

Sharon you were my snowflake,
delicate and pale.
Wish I could Have saved you,
But it seems that I have failed.

The little snowflake melted
And sunk beneath the dirt,
Leaving me alone and cold,
Emotionless and hurt

The blood of a poets broken heart shows up well on the white page with words that show the cracks and depths of that wounded heart. Keep up the good works.
