Dying for Love!!!

She hides the marks left from all the pain she has been through
What would they think what would they say or do
They would never grasp it or understand
How bad it hurts knowing he holds another's hand

She sits with eyeliner running down her face
Wondering how she can be so easily replaced
She holds in her hand the very same blade
That she uses to help ease all the pain

He's the reason there is pain in her eyes
Why every night she cuts to help take away the lies
He is her only source for all the pain
He is the reason there is crimson water in the drain

She keeps on making more and more slits
Each one getting closer to the wrists
One more cut should work it would do
One final cut and her life would be through

She says to herself they wouldn't notice or even care
They wouldn't even realize that I'm not there
She grabs the blade and places it against her skin
As she is starts the last cut her life walked in

He thought he had reached her in time
He had it all planned had it all in his mind
He was going to tell her how much he loved her and how much he cared
But he was too late it didn't matter how bad he wanted her there

He got down on his knees and asked her why
Why would you take away my entire life
Then it flashed in front of him the pain he caused the words he used
He blamed no one but himself for the hurt he caused with emotional abuse

He knew it was his fault why she was lying on the floor
She couldn't deal with the pain or the confusion anymore
As tears rolled down his face he couldn't believe what he saw
The one that he loved had just taken it all

He bent down to her face whispered i love you in her ear
He grabbed the blade and said i won't stay without you here
He kissed her softly upon her lips and with a cry said this is to you
He showed the scars of his pain he knew just one more cut and his life would be through

He wouldn't go on without her there so he did what he thought was right
He gave it all up with the blade of one single knife
He made the final slit the one that would do
The one that caused his life to be through!
