Razor Blade

by Michael D Nalley   Dec 13, 2006

Razor blade are you tired of being used?
By those feeling lonely and abused?
Would you cut and watch me bleed?
If I told you what you really need ?

Razor, were you born in hell?
Where the fallen angels fell
Are you listening to the evil lie?
We were just born so we can die?

Razor blade screams God is in my face
Can you take me to a better place?
In heaven's peace so far above
Where I cannot be hurt by love?

You can't trust any ordained priest
To deliver you from the dark beast
That made your heart grow cold
And your rebellious spirit bold

You long to share your thin edge
Though suicide is a sacrilege
Some understand your pain
Especially the madly insane

The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
Are what you seem to fear the most
That is sad, and such an awful shame
Because it was not Them to blame
