She was a girl of just 13
she had such huge dreams
and then came high school
she tried so hard to fit in
and jumped at the first girl
who offered friendship
but this girl offered so much more
she offered drugs, alcohol, deceit and corruption
this little girl of just 13
was corrupted
along with the drugs came
the highs and lows
mostly lows which graduated into
full on depression
then the depression led to cutting
and the cutting led to her hating herself
the hatred of herself led her to hate the way she looked
as the hatred of her body got deeper
so did the cuts and then came
the eating disorder
people started to worry
but it was already to late
this little girl of just 13
was no longer their
she was completely gone
now that girls 15 and trying
to regain her innocence
but innocence once lost can never fully be regained
and this girl will never be the same
not even close
her past will always haunt her
and she will never move on
she must simply learn to live with
the person she has become
