Can't Help But Cry

I try to laugh
And smile as they do
But no matter how I try
I just don't have a clue

I can't understand
This feeling deep inside
Caused by the disaster
Disaster because I lied

I never thought
Things would turn out this way
But my world tumbled down
After that one horrible day

Though they try to make me smile
I can't, so I just lie
On this cold vinyl tile

I try to stop the tears from falling
As they roll down my cheek
But if I do stop them
I'll be dead for about a week

My eyes are watery
But I still try to smile
But when I come to think of it
I can't help but cry
