Apathy

Have you ever felt true apathy?
I dont know if I have,
Though I think I might have.

Its like feeling cold but still hot.
Like having no reactions but instinct.
Which fades with time.

You hear all sounds but dont want to hear.
You see all pain but close your eyes.
You feel all what will be but shut it out.

Like loosing sanity.
Wishing that you could stay away,
From all the blood on your carpet.

Corpses floating in the streets.
Screams of pain from angels above.
Dead ones rising to avenge.
