Deceived

Can life really be what it seems?
they kiss you goodnight, and say sweet dreams.
They tell you they love you with all their heart,
but next thing you know.. your falling apart
your dreams are shattered, you begin to cry.
people stare at you blankly wondering why.
your thoughts are racing... to fast to catch on
you say "whats wrong with me?"
"Why are you gone?"
you begin writing poems, so deep and so pure.. you say being with them is your only cure
but soon you realize, after all you believed.... that they were nothing... your heart was deceived
