Worth

by Ja   Dec 14, 2006

She almost destroyed me
easily breaking down our walls of trust;
a girl,
a child at the most.
Someone who I wouldn't believe could try to take what I have.
The man of my dreams
for a little while became the man of my nightmares.
She tried to fake stupid
stead up proud into my face.
But I stood my ground
and Shirley Brown began to play in my head.
:Whether you be cool or come out a bag on me it really doesn't make a difference"
"From the top of his head to the bottom of his feet (Ha Ha!) he's mine."
My love My life My everything
I know him
and I hurt us
because I didn't totally trust him.
And woman to woman I told her I wouldn't be anyone's fool.
And if she really wanted some then she can come and get it.
Because the way I see it
if she succeeded to destroy two years and a couple of months of what we have then what was our relationship worth.
