100 Times

100 times will I try,
To comfort you when you cry,
And wipe the tears from your eyes,
When the world tells you lies.

100 times again,
I will love you till the end,
Your body I will tend
And soul I will defend.

100 times 100
Or more can it be said,
That moments apart from you I will dread,
And will continue to follow in your stead.

For 100 times I have paid the toll,
For what is commonly believed an idealistic goal,
But 100 more times I will continue to pursue,
If it could possibly bring me closer to you.
