Snowflake***

by sarah   Dec 14, 2006

You caught that snowflake in your palm,
Let it settle its beauty there,
At first glance you did not realise how fragile it was,
So you touched and held it there.

The unspoilt sparkle of perfection,
Masked the coldness and hurt beneath,
Such a delicate little thing you thought,
But as the snowflake fell you fell with it.

Now your warmth melts that beauty,
As her heart melts to tears,
The warmth melts the snowflake,
And your love melts her fears...
