You are who meets the eye
I sense a darkened stare
for one of my best has been hypnotized
you know i am aware
Capable of stopping time
but unable to erase emotion
I pity myself
I want no part in their world
Lies, drugs and distress.
I try and hide from the inexplicable
my intuition tells me to stay
become a useless acquaintance
I am a part of a rivalry
mixed with friendship and disgust
My opinion is contagious
narrowing the minds of others
I lack the courage of my own words
hypocritical and selfish
I favor to cause crushing grief.
