You watch me as i walk away
and softly call my name
i hear the sadness in your voice
love is the worst kind of game

this is one of those times
when i just wish it would rain
to camoflauge my tears
and wash away all the pain

stopping, turning to see your face
unsure of what to say
the memories come flooding back
i wish we werent here today

trying my best to stand my ground
not let you get to me
